Life in Year 5!

Year 5 are really enjoying Shakespeare's Macbeth: This week we are creating a comic strip to summarise the story, the children are producing beautifully detailed pieces of work, that really tell the story of Macbeth clearly. We are also writing a newspaper report on Macbeth’s coronation, using journalistic features.

During our North America topic, we have been looking at both physical and human features of the different states of America, including ; the statue of liberty, the grand canyon, Mount Rushmore and a range of rivers that flow through the USA.

This week in our Commando Joe session, we worked collaboratively to knock tennis balls off cones, working as a team to block, defend and attack other teams cones. We have earned a reward session from Commando Joe for our last session of the term.

On Friday, we will be having an ice cream treat as a result of our attendance award from last week….well deserved!
